How To Apply For A Stall

All Scottish independent food businesses

Please Note:  Due to the popularity of the festival, stall spaces are in high demand so please be sure to apply early.  Last year 50% of all indoor stalls were booked within 24 hours of launching the festival.

How Much Does It Cost?


The festival aims to include a wide variety of food and drink so has allocated a set number of stalls for each product type.  


Please follow these steps to apply for a stall:

Step 1)  First email the festival team (with your postcode) to ensure there is space and request the stall type you are looking for (indoor mkt stall, outdoor mkt stall or street food stall) and the size (shared, single or double):

Step 2)  You will receive a response and if there is space you will be sent the link to the application form.  Fill it out and submit it

Step 3)  The form will prompt you to separately email a copy of your current insurance certificate (regardless of the renewal date) and your Food Hygiene Information Scheme PASS Certificate.

Step 4)  After submitting the form please follow the link to the 'Pay Now' page and make a BACS payment

Step 5)  Your stall will not be booked until the form, your insurance, FHIS certificate and the payment have all been received.  At this point you will receive confirmation of your booking and a receipt for your payment

If there is space

The Festival Team will send you a link to the application form

If there is no space

The Festival Team will advise and ask if you would like to be added to the waiting list

If a space comes free

The Festival Team will send you a confirmation email and receipt for the payment

Indoor and Outdoor Market Stalls General Info:

  • All market stalls are equivalent to a trestle table size.

  • It is possible to share a stall with another vendor.  Please note both vendors of a sharing stall must apply separately and pay individually.

  • No market vendor will need a gazebo - the outside market will be provided with pre-erected covered stalls as standard.

  • Indoor market stall tables can be requested if you prefer not to bring your own - outside market stalls will be provided with tables as standard.

Outside Street Food Stalls General Info:

  • All street food stall pitches are approx 3m x 3m and will be located in our OUTDOOR street food cafe.  

  • All street food vendors are required to bring their own gazebo, table and a hand wash unit.
